Back Again to Tokyo

Back-to-Tokyo-2

After this one, I have only one-ish more Japan post and I will be done! Looking at these photos makes me miss Japan so much.

We came back to Tokyo after Kyoto and stayed at the Conrad, which I must say is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The location is also so convenient, as it’s right next to the subway and the monorail. The first two photos are from the view during sunrise, and then later at night, from our hotel window. (I look like I’m doing some serious business on my laptop, but I’m probably just on Facebook)

We trekked over to Odaiba, the man-made island across from Rainbow Bridge, and rode the ferris wheel in Palette Town. The second largest in the world! But also very slow, so that you don’t freak out over heights. Tokyo at night is stunning, and it was great to be able to see it from across the bay.

I love that breakfast can include tamago and a whole variety of salted, pickled goodness that is best over rice. And the last photo is from the huuge Shogun garden that had fields of these lovely yellow flowers, endless cherry blossom adorned trees, and a tea house.
